The ZENO hammer mill is suitable for crushing of wood waste, paper, plastics and of miscellaneous materials. Being equipped with adjustable counter blades and due to its symmetric construction it is driven by clockwise and counterclockwise rotation allowing a both-way tool operation without any required turning. In case of abrasion the tools can be moved from inner to outer flying circle of rotor for using them a couple of times. A feeding and a discharging conveyor is included on purchase.

Following steps of overhauling have been taken with indicating spare parts, abrasion parts or accessories:

• The machine has been dismantled up to its base frame, sandblasted, primed and lacquered new before being assembled again.
  
  Frame
  Lateral erosions at frame on area of rotor flying circle have been welded-up with wear resistant ferrous alloy
  
  Rotor
  Rotor has been sandblasted and some rotor slices have been adjusted and welded new.
  10 units of hammer shafts made of impact resistant special steel have been renewed
  140 units of hammers made of Hardox have been renewed
  2 units of spherical bearings have been renewed
  2 units of lock-rings of bearing pedestals have been renewed
  2 units of clamping bushes with cap nuts have been renewed
  
  All new hammers being mounted on inner bolt circle can be assembled on outer bolt circle to be used continuously.
  
  Hydraulics
  Hydraulic unit has been dismantled, emptied and cleaned. Oil filter and sealing has been renewed before machine has been filled with new hydraulic oil
  6 units of hydraulic cylinders for operating the curving screen drawers and caps have been renewed
  All hydraulic hoses, pipes, screwing and ball taps have been renewed
  1 hydraulic pressure reservoir has been renewed and second one was filled new
  
  Screens
  Drawers with opening for curved screens have been refurbished
  2 units of curved screens with mesh aperture of 100 mm and thickness of 20 mm have been renewed
  
  Blades
  Counter blade traverses have been refurbished with face-milling of blade position, thread has been renewed partially
  4 units of counter blades (stator blades) have been renewed
  Bars of threads and of pine pitch threads for adjusting of counter blade traverse have been renewed
  Counter blade traverse has been mounted and adjusted
